Job Description
As part of the Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Program, this systems engineer sr. level position on the U.S./UK Deployed Reentry Systems team contributing to efforts ensuring compatibility between the UK Trident Reentry System and the US program. Typical assignments will include managing compatibility assessment inputs from a variety of program stakeholders, assisting in managing and tracking non-conformance items, reviewing technical publications, and ensuring the UK program needs are met across a variety of subcommittees and working groups.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience working with technical leads to manage cost, schedule, and technical scope.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Possession of a Top Secret clearance
- Experience supporting FBM Reentry Systems
- Experience supporting the United Kingdom or other international partners, including the handling of Foreign Government Information (FGI), International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and the Polaris Sales Agreement (PSA)
- Experience tracking or resolving non-conformance items.
- Experience working with end user technical documentation related to assembly, disassembly, or maintenance activities.
- Experience working directly with government customers both military and civilian
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
