Lockheed Martin Space Production Operations is seeking a Sustainment - System Integration and Test Engineering Associates Manager (L4) to join our team supporting the Fleet Ballistic Missile Programs reporting to the Eastern Range Test Engineering Manager (L5).

This Manager role will be located at the Eastern Range and will oversee the Mechanical activities for the FBM Sustainment Test organization with support from Sustainment L3s. This test manager will be responsible for a multi-disciplined team of Mechanical Test groups composed of engineers and represented employees. This leader will drive day-to-day test operations for the Sustainment group in support of the D5LE test activities to include leading mechanics, engineers, and support groups to ensure cost and schedule performance is in line with baselines.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Candidate must have a BS degree in Engineering from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • Experience working within DOD programs
  • Technical leadership experience (Coded or Noncoded)
  • Experience leading or working with represented workforce
  • Must have experience with manufacturing, production/assembly or test of complex spacecrafts or missiles.

Desired Skills:

  • CAM and EVMS experience and experience managing cost and schedule
  • Experience with the FBM program and customer base
  • Mechanical design and/or manufacturing experience that includes the use of interpretation of engineering design drawings
  • Understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including structures, mechanisms, materials and analysis
  • Exposure to the LMSpace enterprise systems (EPDM, SAP, Automation Framework)
  • Familiarity with engineering CAD tools

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
