The Sustainment Integrated Tools & Engineering team sustains a wide range of Logistics Information systems across the Lockheed Martin portfolio, primarily for the F-35 IT backbone the Autonomic Logistics Information System(ALIS) and the modernized platform Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN).

As a member of the Sustainment Integrated Tools & Engineering Team, the selected candidate will be a part of a fast-paced Engineering Organization working to drive sustainability and operational excellence into new and existing development supporting the F-35 Fleet. They will also work to help shape future development efforts in order to prevent potential issues and improve overall program quality. The selected candidate will primarily be working software development of a tool in support of the F-35 program.

Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure a quality product is created to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Design, develop, and test AI/ML applications
  • Champion software sustainability, ensuring that our solutions remain reliable, adaptable, and future-ready
  • Work closely with a multidisciplined organization and communicate effectively at varying levels of leadership.
  • Execute to product quality and on time delivery measures and feed continuous process improvement (CPI) initiatives

The selected candidate will also be responsible for written and verbal communication internal to the company/across business streams and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Related STEM degree
  • Python, SQL Experience
  • DevOps Fundamentals – CI/CD Pipelines (ex: Git), Docker, Kubernetes
  • Strong organization and communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • AI/ML Implementation/Framework Experience (NLP, RAG, Fine Tuning, Vector Databases)
  • Full Stack Development Experience
  • Web Development Experience – HTTP, REST APIs, frontend\backend integration (ex: REACT)
  • F-35 ALIS/ODIN Experience

Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
