Description:
As the Reliability Team Lead for the TacIRST portfolio of programs, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of reliability activities and managing a team of reliability personnel. You will lead the development and implementation of reliability tasks, such as failure analysis and corrective actions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program success.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing reliability personnel and tasks, including FRACAS, failure review boards, and development tasks
- Providing status updates to internal senior management and external customers
- Coordinating with system safety, logistics development, and engineering teams to support program activities
- Managing contracts and communicating with customers on status and technical topics
- Mentoring and developing junior staff as a Team Lead
Basic Qualifications:
Must have an active secret security clearance.
Engineering Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience with combined education.
Candidate must have supervision/leadership experience and proven execution experience.
Must be a self-starter with initiative and attention to detail.
Experience with the principles and requirements for the following specialty engineering tasks:
- Reliability predictions
- FMECA analysis
- FRACAS process
- Diagnostic analysis
- Maintainability analysis
- BIT understanding
- Reliability testing
Desired Skills:
Active Secret Security Clearance with recent 5 year investigation completed
Experience with LM Corporate policies and procedures and background in major DoD military tactical missiles/weapons systems
Experience with the following:
- Reliability test experience
- Proficient with technical presentations to senior management
- Experience in managing technical personnel highly desired
- Earned value management experience
- Experience with technical proposal activities including Technical Volume development, manpower estimation and BOE production
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of software products
- Candidate should also be an agile thinker and executor able to move from a strategic level to the implementation level in interactions with multiple audiences and groups
Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
