You will be a Quality Engineer for the Lockheed Martin team supporting the TacIRST program. Our team is responsible for developing and implementing quality standards, methods, and procedures to ensure the highest quality of manufactured and procured products.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for leading quality initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading program corrective action meetings and analyzing quality data to identify trends and resolve process issues
- Conducting assessments and audits to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
- Collaborating with customers, suppliers, and program personnel to resolve quality-related issues
- Utilizing lean initiatives to reduce waste and improve production velocity and quality

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM related discipline or related technical discipline
- Capable of performing root cause analysis and identifying solutions to complex problems.
- An understanding of audit techniques.
- Ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations
- Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
- Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing techniques/ Green Belt Certification
- Knowledge of data analytics / statistics with ability to perform under minimal guidance
- Experience with control and disposition of nonconforming Material (Material Review Board)
- Understanding of Tableau, Pareto Analysis and Statistical Process Control
- Knowledge of AS9100D Quality System and pertinent Quality practices.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
