What You Will Be Doing

This position supports proposals on the Apache Fire Control program. The candidate will be responsible for pricing activities including spares/repairs, sustainment, and production proposals with LM as the prime contractor. Proposal types will include USG, FMS, and DCS International bids. Duties include supporting the entire proposal process from RFP and Proposal Authorization, coordinating divisional inputs, pricing using LM Estimating Financial System (EFS), guiding the proposal through the management review process, providing government audit support, fact-finding, negotiating and certification.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong financial/analytical orientation
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
  • Self-Starter
  • Aptitude for learning financial software and/or database systems

Desired Skills:

  • Working knowledge of LMMFC financial software
  • US Army/AMCOM customer experience
  • Experience working as part of a Joint Venture
  • Experience with IDIQ proposals/contracts

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
