Description:
You will be the Program Quality Engineer for the Program Quality team. Our team is responsible for implementing and executing program quality requirements for Rotary Wing Systems (RWS) programs and ensuring product delivery meets engineering and customer specifications.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Program Quality Engineer you will be responsible for driving quality excellence across both desk and factory environments for rotary-wing aircraft sensors.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Manage the implementation of program quality plans and ensure compliance with engineering and customer requirements.
- Coordinate multi-functional interfaces to resolve non-conformances, containment, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Utilize the Apriso system to document, track, and close non-conformance records.
- Analyze production data, generate trend assessments, and recommend actions to improve process and product quality.
- Support both desk-side and factory-floor activities to meet program and production deadlines.

Basic Qualifications:
Technical bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or equivalent combined education/experience- Quality experience
- Proficiency with discrepancy documents
- Experience with quality or manufacturing engineering processes or policies or quality systems management requirements or anything else
- Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
- Must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- 1+ years of Electrical, Hardware, or Systems Engineering Background
- 2+ years of Quality Experience
- Lean Six Sigma/Green Belt
- Knowledgeable regarding audit processes
- Experience engaging with external customers
- Experience in a hardware processing or manufacturing environment
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with aerospace defense hardware, processes, systems, enterprise requirements and command media
- Experienced with non-conformance (PR/MRB) requirements and systems
- Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with data analytics to report trends and achieve results, drive improvements and efficiencies, including excel macros and pivot tables
Security Clearance Statement:

Ability to Work Remotely:
Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position:
4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
