THE WORK

As a Subcontract Program Manager (SPM), you'll lead the proposal efforts overseeing various contract types within the ELTS domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Subcontract Management Teams for proposal efforts: Oversee subcontracts and critical subcontracted systems across various contract types
• Develop Strategic Plans: Formulate sourcing and subcontract program management strategies aligned with program capture needs and execution objectives.
• Subcontractor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and the program management office, fostering clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
• Subcontract Management: Supervise all stages of the subcontract process, from making business cases for make/buy decisions to negotiating agreements and overseeing program execution.
• Performance Decision Making: Make critical decisions impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with program objectives and goals.
• Schedule and Specification Compliance: Establish milestone objectives and ensure adherence to committed schedules and contractual specifications.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years+ experience in subcontracts management
• Experience managing critical major suppliers and working large proposals
• Ability to Travel

Desired Skills:

• Previous LM experience
• Experience managing supplier relationships and cross functional teams.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
