The Work
The Procurement Representative will serve the Rotary and Mission Systems organization, managing the full RFQ cycle in the LMP2P system and coordinating with industry partners to secure competitive pricing and timely delivery for proposal efforts. In this capacity, you will act as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external suppliers, ensuring that all cost and technical data aligns with mission objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Generate and issue Request for Quotes (RFQs) to qualified vendors using the LMP2P procurement system.
- Conduct follow-up communication with suppliers to clarify drawings, requirements, and any questions that arise.
- Capture, validate, and input pricing data accurately in LMP2P.
- Analyze vendor responses to ensure they meet proposal needs and drive competitive pricing wherever possible.
- Provide material cost estimating support and perform related administrative tasks as required.
Who You Are
You are detail-oriented, organized, and excel at communicating with internal teams and external suppliers. Your strong Microsoft Office, especially Excel, skills enable effective data manipulation and reporting for cost estimation.

Basic Qualifications:
- General Microsoft Office Suite knowledge which includes Excel skills for data manipulation & reporting.
- Organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Demonstrated communication skills with internal and external client.
Desired Skills:
- Some experience working with data for cost estimation.
- Familiarity with Bills of Material
- Familiarity with procurement software and hardware
- Procurement Experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five-day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
