THE WORK

The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting and executing a variety of different contracts with focus on development of our Multi-Domain Test Solutions (MTS) automated test equipment. The candidate will be responsible for supporting all aspects of program execution (cost, schedule, and technical). The selected candidate will support engineering, supply chain, operations, and other functional support areas to ensure performance to the contract baseline. The candidate must be able to integrate disparate data during execution, be able to drive appropriate processes, identify and manage issues/risks/opportunities, and develop correction action path forward when necessary. Several requirements include:

  • Support new business capture and pursuit tasks within our missile test portfolio; including supporting ROM and Proposal efforts
  • Support strategic engagement supporting LMS VP / Director engagements and tracking action items
  • Support baseline reviews and 1LMX implementation
  • Support keeping VEMO demand current
  • Support developing content for IPT meetings
  • Support Risk and Operations Management
  • Support supplier parts arrived and operation metrics for production builds; help drive builds to meet schedule
  • Help teams with metric collection and review with Portfolio Manager

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to qualify for a Secret Clearance
  • Demonstrated program management and customer interface experience as a Deputy PM, CAM, etc.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a cross functional program team
  • Ability to develop, create, and execute a strategy to grow new business opportunities including proposals
  • Experience with cost, schedule, technical, and risk and opportunity management
  • Experience troubleshooting and leading through program performance issues
  • Be onsite in the office greater than 50% of the time
  • Ability to travel on an as needed basis

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with other LM Business areas (LM Aero, LM MFC, and LM Space)
  • Experience working across LM RMS Lines of Businesses (LOBs)
  • Experience working development, production, and sustainment contracts
  • Automated Test Equipment programmatic experience
  • Demonstrated proposal management experience
  • An understanding of the principles and practice of Earned Value Management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
