Maintenance Operations Coordinator

In this role you will support the Maintenance Operations Team with coordinating critical mission operations, scheduling and tracking routine preventive maintenance tasks for both standard and mission unique support equipment. This position will require frequent communication with Production Operations, Quality, and Navy Partners to work through challenges and will also provide opportunities for you to develop creative solutions to complex issues.
What will a typical day in this role involve? In this role you will…
- Support the Maintenance Operations team by coordinating critical mission operations, scheduling and tracking routine preventive maintenance.
- Interface daily with internal and external customers to communicate schedule impacts and propose corrective actions to applicable stakeholders.
- Ensure Eastern Range FBM drivers are compliant with Department of Transportation (DOT)/ Commercial Driver License (CDL) requirements.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/combined education
- Fundamental knowledge of planning principles
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products
- Strong communication (both verbal and written)
- Must be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Top Secret Security clearance
Desired Skills:
- Strong interpersonal skills and should be able to operate in a fast paced, team-based environment
- Should be able to operate independently with little supervision after training
- Experience with scheduling tools/applications (ie. Microsoft Teams Planner)
- Experience with SAP or other comparable enterprise resource planning tool
- Secret Clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
