You will be the Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Mechanic for the Industrial Services Team. Our team is responsible for maintaining and repairing HVAC, refrigeration, steam boiler, and related mechanical systems across Lockheed Martin facilities.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Industrial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Mechanic you will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC, chilled-water, steam-boiler, and refrigeration equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and repair HVAC equipment, chilled water systems, steam boilers, and air compressors.
  • Operate and monitor gas and oil-fired heating equipment and nitrogen systems.
  • Perform routine inspections, testing, and documentation of equipment performance.
  • Service refrigeration units, cooling towers, and associated chemical water-treatment systems.
  • Conduct minor welding, belt adjustments, and component replacements as needed.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have the ability to work on the weekends
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • EPA Certification (Universal).
  • Expertise in some of the following: maintaining and repairing HVAC equipment, chilled water systems, operating steam boilers and air compressors, chemical water treatment for cooling towers and boilers.
  • Must be able to work on 1st, 2nd or 3rd shifts as defined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement
  • Due to the full access of the facility that this role would require, all candidates must be U.S. citizens

Desired Skills:

  • Prior experience servicing and maintaining stationary and portable refrigeration units, air conditioning systems, heating and humidifying units, thermostats, water coolers, automatic controllers, pneumatic and low voltage A/C controls.
  • 2 Years Technical Diploma or equivalent certification.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 7-Day Continuous Operator
