Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Experienced Manufacturing Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team in Kennedy Space Center, Florida.
Experimental Service Group (ESG) supports a variety of government customers spanning technology domains and is a fast-paced, responsive development environment delivering new capabilities to customers rapidly and affordably. The ESG portfolio consists of a range of platforms and technologies that includes the X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV). The X-37B OTV is the United States’ most advanced, state-of-the-art reentry space craft.
BDS is one of the world's largest defense, space and security businesses specializing in innovative and capabilities-driven customer solutions, and the world's largest and most versatile producer of military aircraft and commercial/civil/government space systems.
Position Responsibilities
Associate Level 2:
- Assist with activities across multiple functions to resolve emergent issues in support of specific operations
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Provides limited feedback on assessment results
- Support the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Works under general supervision
Experienced Level 3:
- Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
- Analyzes and interprets data
- Provides feedback on assessment results
- Works with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes
- Works at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans
- Works under general direction
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Shift:
This position is for 1st or 2nd shift however, candidates must be willing to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required.
NASA Access:
This position requires the ability to obtain a clearance for access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- More than 1 year of experience in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment
- More than 1 year of experience working with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams
- More than 1 year of experience implementing lean methodologies and productivity improvements
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or PowerBI
- Experience with project management
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to look forward strategically and develop detailed solutions and specifications
- Strong analytic, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills
Typical Education/Experience:
Associate Level 2: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.)
Experienced Level 3: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range Associate Level 2: $74,800 - $101,200
Summary pay range Experienced Level 3: $90,950 - $123,050
